Colton received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A delayed insurance payout left Colton short on rent for 5 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in July, Colton fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Monday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $3,150.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, the family must leave.
There are a toddler and a baby at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Colton has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.

• Utilities in arrears: $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $730
