Ishrat is a single parent of two young children - help us after a divorce
Ishrat and two young children need a bridge to stability after a divorce.

After a divorce in September, I'm now raising two young children on my own. I work as a care worker, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a dental nurse in the evenings, which will triple my income by November, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $450 goes:
• Course fees and exam costs: $65
• Groceries and school meals: $125
• Rent top-up: $260
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Seoul.
How is Ishrat doing now?
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Sent it to 22 people at work. God bless
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ishrat.
Course fees and exam costs is $65 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Ask me anything else.
Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Manchester
Hope it all works out, Ishrat. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Tokyo.
Wishing you peace. I hope things turn around soon. After 9 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Saint-Denis
