Care for Łukasz, 94: help cover a carer and medication in London
Łukasz, 94, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 94. After worsening Parkinson's disease Łukasz can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Łukasz desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Łukasz worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $150
• Part-time carer (six months): $1,600
• Medication and prescriptions: $700

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. hospital bed and mattress rental comes first ($150) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
