Need strong backs and a van: moving Jocelyn to safer housing
Jocelyn has found a safe new apartment in Lapu-Lapu and needs help moving heavy furniture on Tuesday.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Lapu-Lapu, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
