Care for Rohan, 84: help cover a carer and medication in Dwarka
Help Rohan stay in his own home with three months of part-time care.
Anywhere in the world211 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 84. After the death of his spouse Rohan can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Rohan desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Rohan worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $600 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $125
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $35
• Part-time carer (three months): $440
With deep gratitude,
Paresh

take care, Paresh. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 7 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Dwarka
Praying for you, Paresh. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Lagos

Take care, Paresh. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
