Care for Haruka, 93: help cover a carer and medication in Kawasaki
Haruka, 93, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $4,600 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 93. After a stroke last July Haruka can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Haruka desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Haruka worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $4,600 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $240
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $380
• Part-time carer (six months): $3,980
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
