Marisol was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in June. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,500 short.
my wife has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since June. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Marisol struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
