Help Jagadish pay for gallbladder removal at Kochi Orthopedic Institute
After a benign brain tumor, Jagadish was cleared for gallbladder removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Jagadish was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in May. The surgeon at Kochi Orthopedic Institute recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,100, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $550 short.
my son has been in and out of Kochi Orthopedic Institute since May. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jagadish struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Jagadish won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $550 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $300
• Travel and lodging for the family: $35
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $80
• Post-operative medication: $30
• Physiotherapy sessions: $105

Sending strength. Get well soon. Put this on a community board in Los Angeles this morning. All the best.

Rooting for you, Aravind. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
