Care for Hanna, 91: help cover a carer and medication in Hawassa
Help Hanna stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 91. After a fall and hip fracture Hanna can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Hanna desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Hanna worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $400 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $230
• Medication and prescriptions: $85
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $45
With deep gratitude,
Sara

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Hawassa.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Hawassa
Thank you. If you're in Hawassa I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Thinking of you, Sara. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
