Bruno's a broken leg after a road accident: help with the vet bill
Bruno, Bukola's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $250.
🇳🇬 Anambra, Nigeria404 views
Bruno is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 6 April we rushed to Onitsha Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Onitsha Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Bruno's recovery.
Where the $250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $90
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $70
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
Thank you for reading my story.
