Beata is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Warsaw State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,250. The registrar has said Beata can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Beata has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Beata would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Beata isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Warsaw State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,250 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,150 • Final term tuition: $910 • Exam and lab fees: $125 • Textbooks and materials: $65 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Ryszard

  • Best of luck. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Wish I lived closer to Saint-Denis so I could bring a meal. All the best.
