Help Harper pay for septoplasty at San Diego University Hospital
A scheduled septoplasty in May is out of reach without help covering $7,750 of the cost.

Harper was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in March. The surgeon at San Diego University Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $13,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $7,750 short.
my sister has been in and out of San Diego University Hospital since March. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $13,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Harper struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Harper won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

What exactly is the $7,750 for?
Sure. The biggest one is surgeon and anesthesia fees, $4,600. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
