Back to business - Anand's comeback in Jalandhar
Anand lost a cold-storage unit to a long illness and repossession and needs $400 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For six years I have run a small grocery stall in Jalandhar. In November, a long illness and repossession took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $200
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $50
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Working capital for the first month: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
