Back on our feet: Harsha and two young children in Kandy
After the death of my husband, Harsha is raising two young children alone and needs $750 to stay afloat for 4 months.

Since the death of my husband in June, I'm now raising two young children on my own. I work as a hairdresser, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a medical coder in the evenings, which will triple my income by September, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rent top-up: $310
• Childcare and after-school care: $210
• Groceries and school meals: $130
• Course fees and exam costs: $100
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope it all works out, Harsha. Looking forward to the next update. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Duluth.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Harsha
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rent top-up comes first ($310) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
Thinking of you and your family. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Kandy.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Kota.
