Standing with Alok: thyroid cancer treatment costs

Alok was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at the Thane Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Alok is 31, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Thane Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
