Let's build a community fridge together in Likoni

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 109 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $200 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $95 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 • Permits and inspections: $55 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
