Aurora received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The loss of a second income left Aurora short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in February, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $860
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,500
• Utilities in arrears: $290
I hope life is good to you.
