Aubree's stomach cancer treatment fund
Aubree is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇬🇧 Scotland, United Kingdom1,242 views
Aubree was diagnosed with stomach cancer in March. The oncology team at Edinburgh Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Aubree is 58, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Edinburgh Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,000
• Transport to Edinburgh Regional Medical Center: $530
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400
• Household costs while unable to work: $820
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Aubree
Chemotherapy and medication not covered is $6,500 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.
So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Auckland but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Auckland.
Thinking of you, Kevin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Edinburgh
