Mobility fund: communication tablet with eye tracking for Moumita in Cox's Bazar
Help Moumita get a communication tablet with eye tracking so She can join the school sports day.
🇧🇩 Chattogram, Bangladesh817 views
Moumita lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Cox's Bazar Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Moumita could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $345
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Moumita.
Sure. The biggest one is delivery and set-up, $20. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Praying for you, Hossain. Shared it with a few friends. I hope June is when things finally get easier
Take care. Get well soon. All the best
Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
