An agronomist's advice for Karanja's rice farm in Nairobi
A short consultation could save a season's rice harvest.

I farm 5 hectares of rice in Nairobi. This season I'm dealing with curling and yellowing leaves. I've tried what the local suppliers recommended, but results aren't improving.
I'm looking for an agronomist or experienced grower who can look at photos, soil-test results and my planting plan, and advise on what to change. A 30-minute call or exchange of messages would be fantastic.
I'm happy to share photos and a soil test. I'm using only what I can afford, so low-cost suggestions are best. I'll share how it goes - and what worked - to help others in the community.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope things get better soon, Karanja. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Feira de Santana this morning. Love from Feira de Santana.
Hope things get better soon, Karanja. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of Nairobi
Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Nairobi.
Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 7 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Sandton.
