Althea needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
Althea lost a full set of tools to floodwater and needs $1,250 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Spanish Town. In July, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $810
• Initial stock: spare parts: $145
• Shop repairs and licensing: $160
• Working capital for the first month: $135
Thanks for reading all this.

Stay strong, Althea. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Wollongong so I could bring a meal. God bless.
