Help Fatima restart a tailoring shop in Shubra after a break-in
Fatima has run a tailoring shop for twelve years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a tailoring shop in Shubra. In September, a break-in took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $165
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $110
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $45
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
