Adewale needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Abuja
Adewale drives for a living in Abuja, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $160
• Towing and inspection: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
With deep gratitude,
Adewale

Stay strong, Adewale. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Salem.
wishing you the best, Adewale. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Rotterdam so I could bring a meal.
Rooting for you, Adewale. Hope this works out for you.
