Addison wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
Addison, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,000 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 82. After a diagnosis of dementia Addison can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Addison desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Addison worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,000 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $470
• Medication and prescriptions: $800
• Part-time carer (six months): $3,730
