A youth football pitch for the Freedom community hall: help our neighbors in Milan
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $1,700 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,700.
It will serve about 351 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $130
• Materials: $1,300
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
