A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Coimbatore
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $350 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 431 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Permits and inspections: $50
