A weekly visit for Rima, 77, who lives alone in Gazipur
Rima lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Rima, who's 77. Rima lives alone in Gazipur, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Rima loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Gwagwalada so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Arlington.
