Cedar Park needs a playground - Priscila's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $750. It will serve about 315 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $750 goes: • Materials: $430 • Permits and inspections: $60 • Safety equipment and signage: $120 • Tools hire and delivery: $140 Thanks for being kind about this.
