Back-to-school fund for Stéphane
Stéphane won a place at Edmonton Girls' High School but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Edmonton Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $500, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $500 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $160
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70
• Textbooks and workbooks: $270
I hope life is good to you.
