A weekly visit for Reem, 80, who lives alone in Alexandria

I'm writing for my neighbor Reem, who's 80. Reem lives alone in Alexandria, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Reem loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
