Habib is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Kolkata Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has said Habib can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Habib has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Habib would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Habib isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kolkata Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $175
• Final term tuition: $135
• Textbooks and materials: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.
