Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Heliopolis
Volunteers in Heliopolis are raising $450 for a rainwater harvesting system at Acacia Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 415 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $300
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
