A weekly visit for Dolores, 73, who lives alone in Iztapalapa
Looking for a friendly person in Iztapalapa to visit Dolores once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Dolores, who's 73. Dolores lives alone in Iztapalapa, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 609 kilometers away.
Dolores loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Seville.
Get well soon. Wish I lived closer to Iloilo City so I could bring a meal. Love from Riyadh

Good luck, Rubén. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
