Üsküdar
Kaan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at the Üsküdar Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has said Kaan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kaan has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kaan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Kaan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Üsküdar Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $750 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $290 • Final term tuition: $330 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $85 Thank you for reading my story.
