Denise has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the London Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Denise can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way. Denise is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Get well soon. Greetings from Nashik.

    • Best of luck. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless

      • So sorry you're going through this, Cora. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
