Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Angel in Corpus Christi
Angel needs a powered wheelchair that the health system will not fund; the cost is $5,050.

Angel lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Corpus Christi Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,050.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Angel could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $4,400
• Fitting and training sessions: $155
• Delivery and set-up: $160
• First-year servicing plan: $335
