A weekly ride to Quezon City Regional Medical Center for Rodel

A rota of drivers to Quezon City Regional Medical Center would keep Rodel on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Rodel has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Quezon City Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Rodel can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 11 km each way. Rodel is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
