A weekly ride to Heraklion Regional Medical Center for Panagiota

A rota of drivers to Heraklion Regional Medical Center would keep Panagiota on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Panagiota has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Heraklion Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Panagiota can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way. Panagiota is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
