Jackson, my brother, passed away on 12 March after a sudden heart attack. He was 45 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 26 March. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Jackson to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $5,300 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $3,300 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,300 • Transport of the deceased: $550 • Memorial gathering for the family: $150 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
