Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Barranquilla

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650. It will serve about 455 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
