After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 12 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like music, books and gardening, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like

    • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Abuja but we're thinking of you

      • Good luck, Eleanor. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

        • thinking of you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
