Musa needs my motorbike repaired to get back to work in Lagos
Musa's my motorbike is Musa's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $150.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria1,057 views
I make my living with my motorbike. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $125
• Labor charges: $20
• Towing and inspection: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.

Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Love from Arusha.
