Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Nasrin afford treatment in Mysuru
Nasrin is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇮🇳 India601 views
Nasrin was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Mysuru University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Nasrin is 36, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mysuru University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $740
• Scans and lab work: $140
• Transport to Mysuru University Hospital: $145
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
• Household costs while unable to work: $355

wishing you the best. Get well soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Mysuru.
