A stair-climbing aid for Mercy: help Mercy move freely
A stair-climbing aid would give Mercy independence - we are $1,350 away.

Mercy lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Lagos Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Mercy could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $40
• stair-climbing aid: $1,285
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
