Back to business - Aarti's comeback in Pune
Aarti has run a tailoring shop for twelve years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $250 will put it back on its feet.
Updates from Aarti
We're at 2% thanks to 1 of you. I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. More news soon.
Small update. $100 so far, I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($100 in total) I made the first payment toward initial stock: fabric and thread. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Aarti.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. initial stock: fabric and thread comes first ($120) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
You're not alone, Aarti. Hope the shop reopens soon. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Aarti. Hope you get there. Don't give up
is there anything that isn't money that would help Aarti?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about initial stock: fabric and thread, advice is welcome too. Happy to explain more.
Small businesses are the heart of Pune. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Good luck, Aarti. Looking forward to the next update. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
