A skate park for Union Park: help our neighbors in Antalya

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 576 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $410 • Permits and inspections: $75 • Safety equipment and signage: $105 • Tools hire and delivery: $110 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Batuhan
