Need strong backs and a van: moving Rachel to safer housing
Rachel has found a safe new apartment in Seattle and needs help moving heavy furniture on Wednesday.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Seattle, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts, Rachel. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Seattle
hang in there, Rachel. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. God bless
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Los Angeles but we're thinking of you.

Sending love, Rachel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Seattle
