A service dog for Odette, an infantry veteran in Paris
Odette served ten years in the infantry; $3,450 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $3,450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Essential household items: $490
• Transport to appointments: $280
• Training provider fees: $2,680
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
