A service dog for Crystal, an air force veteran in Chandler
Crystal served four years in the air force; $4,000 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.
🇺🇸 Chandler, Arizona, United States2,571 views
Miles served four years in the air force and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $4,000.
Miles is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Training provider fees: $3,000
• Essential household items: $420
• Transport to appointments: $580
With deep gratitude,
Crystal

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Miles!
It's all in the list in the story. training provider fees is the big one at $3,000, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
Rooting for you, Crystal. Hope you get there. Sent it to 32 people at work
hope things get better soon. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Swansea donated after I showed her your page.
