Clear storm damage from Carla's garden in Ekurhuleni
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Carla's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Ekurhuleni for 49 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Carla. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Sent it to 29 people at work. Greetings from Odesa.
You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. God bless
